Prophet Muhammad

Born in Makkah in the Year of the Elephant (570 CE), Prophet Muhammad was an orphan raised by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib and later his uncle Abu Talib. Married to his beloved wife Lady Khadijah, he was known for his impeccable honesty and character, earned the title "Al-Amin".

At the age of 40, during a retreat in Cave Hira, he received the First Revelation of the Quran through Archangel Gabriel (Jibril). This marked the beginning of his mission to preach monotheism.

Facing severe persecution in Makkah, he and his companions migrated to Madinah (the Hijrah) in 622 CE, which marks the start of the Islamic calendar. In Madinah, he established a cohesive state based on justice and fraternity, aided by his cousin and brother Imam Ali. He participated in several key defensive battles (Badr, Uhud, Trench) and eventually returned to Makkah in a peaceful conquest in 630 CE. He delivered his Farewell Sermon in 632 CE and passed away shortly after.
