Lady Fatimah al-Zahra

Fatimah was born to Prophet Muhammad and Lady Khadijah in Makkah. She was deeply devoted to her father, earning the title "Umm Abiha" (the mother of her father) because of how she comforted and cared for him under Makkan persecution.

She married Ali ibn Abi Talib in Madinah. Their marriage was a union of spiritual and physical peers, from which came Hasan, Husayn, Zaynab, and Umm Kulthum. The Prophet famously said, "Fatimah is a part of me; whoever angers her, angers me."

After the Prophet's death, she defended her husband's rights and her inheritance (Fadak). Her sermon in the mosque of Madinah (Sermon of Fadak) is a masterpiece of eloquence. She passed away shortly after the Prophet under tragic circumstances. Per her own request, she was buried in secret at night, and her burial site remains unknown.
